Nav Chetan Special Education Early Intervention Therapeutic Centre is working with children with disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Difficulty, Intellectual Disability, Speech and Language disorder, Slow Learners and Attention Deficit Disorder etc. We specialises in children between the age of 2–20 years.
The team at Nav Chetan Special Education Early Intervention Therapeutic Centre for Children consists of trained Special Educators, Psychologists, Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist. All the members of the team come from varied backgrounds and have experience of working with children in school, hospitals and clinics. They work hands on and implement the program after discussions with each other and the case in charge. The parents are also an important part of the team as they are kept aware of all the plans and developments that their child makes.
Our Therapists focus on achieving functional independence through therapeutic interventions addressing gross motor skills, fine motor skills, cognitive- perceptual skills, muscle strengthening, balance and coordination, sensory integration, language skills, social skills as well as self-care activities. Our Pediatric special educator helps children work towards academic skills which include daily hand function, play, school education, self care etc.
Our Pediatric speech therapist helps children towards speech and communication development and increase ability to socialize and interact with others.
Our occupational therapists help children work towards engaging all aspects of their lives which include play, academics, self care, mealtimes etc.
Pediatric physical therapists are specifically trained to improve the lives and daily function of children who suffer from physical injuries etc.
Nav Chetan Special Education Early Intervention Therapeutic Centre has been conceived with the vision of improving the level and quality of autism-related interventions in India. This will be achieved by creating a hi-tech training programme specific to autism, where teachers can work in the school environment and can have ongoing professional development via a continuing education format.
